Nolan grew in the Northumberland community, playing competitive junior golf all across Ontario. After graduating from Western University and joining the PGA of Canada in 2015, Nolan spent five seasons honing his instruction skills at Loyalist Golf & Country Club, just outside of Kingston. A large focus of Nolan’s during this time was geared towards growing the game amongst the area’s youth through programs such as Golf In Schools and the Loyalist Junior Program.

In 2020, Nolan received the opportunity to head to Toronto and join the team of professionals at St. George’s Golf & Country Club, a World Top 50 Facility and the #1 ranked private club in Canada. It was here that Nolan really excelled his education within the realm of golf instruction, teaching alongside several accomplished professionals. It was during this time that Nolan pursued his certification with the TPI Performance Institute, learning the importance of the “body-swing connection” and how understanding the variations in the physical capabilities of each golfer is paramount to understanding their golf swing.

In 2022, Nolan joined the team at Timber Ridge and has been working hard to help golfers of all skills levels enjoy the game further.

“There is no such thing as the perfect golf swing. Even if there was, not every body type is capable of getting into the same positions. My goal as an instructor is to offer clear, cohesive and personalized advice that will create incremental improvement for the student. No bombardment of information. No confusion. Just clarity.”
